Traffic came to a halt on the afternoon of Monday, 15 April, after a B-double-sized truck became stuck entering Davey Bridge near Placid Hills.

At about 1 pm on Monday, the heavy-trailed vehicle unsuccessfully attempted a sharp turn onto the single-lane bridge that connects Placid Hills residence to Gatton.

The bridge has restricted access for B-double vehicles up to 23m or longer.

A local tow truck service was called to the scene shortly after to pull the vehicle uphill towards the Placid Hills side of the bridge.
