Brisbane Valley Kilcoy Landcare is hosting a talk on the largest of Australia’s owls, the Powerful Owl, on Sunday 21 April.

The talk will be conducted by Andrew Dinwoodie.

Andrew is the Brisbane Powerful Owl Project Coordinator for Birdlife Australia.

The talk will provide an overview of the Powerful Owl, how to identify the owl, its songs and calls, and where it can be found.

In addition, Andrew will give an overview of the Powerful Owl Citizen Science Project, offering attendees with the chance to become involved in the project.

Members of the public are invited to attend this free event from 10 -11am at the Kilcoy Information Centre.
