MAJOR COMMUNITY GRANTS

Lockyer Valley Regional Council’s latest round of Major Community Grants is now open.

Grants of between $1,000 and $4,000 are available for not-for-profit community organisations across the Lockyer Valley.

The Lockyer Valley Community Grants program funds local projects, events and activities.

Grants will be awarded to applications which focus on community development, arts and cultural development, social services, recreational services and environmental initiatives.

Applications are now open and will close on 15 April 2024.

WOODLANDS ROAD ROADWORKS

Council has identified a portion of Woodlands Road that requires extensive rehabilitation works, which will result in delays to road users under traffic control.

Works are now underway and will require one lane to be closed for the majority of the project, which is expected to be completed in August, weather permitting.

MARCH COUNCIL MEETING

The first Council Meeting following the Local Government Elections will be held at the Council Chambers in Gatton on Thursday 28 March, commencing at 10am.

This meeting will include the Declaration of Office.
